Bristol Recording Studios Hosts “Encanti Presents: The Electronic Musician’s Tutorial for Ableton Live!”

What are YOU doing on July 28th?! Leave the hours between 7 and 9 PM open, because that’s when Bristol Studios is hosting “Encanti Presents: The Electronic Musician’s Production and Performance Tutorial for Ableton Live!”

At this tutorial, Boston native Ben Cantil, more affectionately known as Encanti, will teach you how to use suite instruments and effects, automation, production, and editing, drum programming, synth design, interactive performance design, working with video, mixing and remixing, mastering tracks, and his personal philosophy. This tutorial is FREE so make sure you’re able to attend!

Ableton Live 8 is a performance music software that makes it easier for musicians to compose, write, record, produce, remix, and more all through one software program. According to Ableton, what makes Live different is its “wealth of new techniques and improvements with a new groove engine, revamped warping, live looping, new effects, crossfades in the Arrangement View and a reworked MIDI editor”.

Encanti is a multimedia performance artist dedicated to creating high-quality and uniquely customized electronic media experiences. He is an independent music producer, performer, sound designer, DJ, and VJ. Encanti produces and performs bass-oriented styles of electronic dance music, working closely with Vermin Street Arts and Media of Boston, Massachusetts. Encanti’s tracks combine dubstep, jamtronica, techno, traditional international styles, and original sound design. His music is performed on laptop, utilizing fast-paced remixing techniques, with mind-bending breakdowns and live mutating effects.
