Justin Bieber’s holiday charity donations – Including holiday album of duets!

Bristol just got word that Justin Bieber is definitely getting into holiday spirits! He is releasing a holiday album, “Under the Mistletoe,” on November 1st where he will be doing duets with many famous singers, such as Mariah Carey, Usher, Boys II Men, the Band Perry, and even Busta Rhymes!

Considering that the holidays are a time to give back, portions of the album sale will be going to charity’s like Pencils of Promise and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Justin has always done a great job of donating to charity. He’s donated a song to a digital charity album (along with Rhianna, U2, and Gaga) to benefit the victims of Japan’s March 11 earthquake and tsunami. In February, he auctioned his famous locks to a charity. He even asked his fans to Donate to Charity for his 17th Birthday.

And for this holiday season, in addition to his charitable holiday album, Beiber has also already donated $10,000 to the food bank where he grew up. “I used to actually get food from there,” Beiber said. “It was an incredible feeling, just becausethey were needing a lot of stuff, and it made me feel good.” He’s planning to donate more to other charities as the holiday season continues.

What do you think about Justin’s charity work over the holidays?

One Response to “Justin Bieber’s holiday charity donations – Including holiday album of duets!”

  1. Hi Justin – I was born and raised in Kitchener Ontario and am now a communications consultant in Mississauga, Ontario. I’m hoping you’re interested in helping a charity called Darearts that gives kids and teens challenged by difficult life and socioeconomic circumstances a second chance. Darearts kids are given the opportunity to leave the classroom so that they can learn about the arts from artists (singers, sculptors, dancers you name it.) in artistic institutions (the ROM, National Ballet, Opera House, concert theatres). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids to get out of their routine settings, learn to sing, dance, draw, sculpt etc. and to build confidence and leadership skills to take back to their classrooms and communities. I’m REALLY REALLY hoping you would be interested in supporting this charity because a) it’s out of Canada 2) it gives kids who haven’t been dealt the best hand a second chance 3) a lot of these kids are bullied, and I know that bullying is something you’re concerned about 4) you’re just a great guy!!! I’m really really hoping you’ll read this email and get back to me. If you don’t, I’ll be working hard to find you another way. All the best – one of your biggest Ontario fans, Rachel Pardy (rachelpardy@live.ca)
