Summer Singer Showcase 7/31/12

The First Series of Bristol Entertainment’s, A SUMMER SINGER SHOWCASE: Series At Downtown Crossing was a huge success! Five incredibly talented young performers were determined to command the stage come rain or shine and their energy proved unstoppable! The billed performers, Sasha Dhameja, Jaelin Rippie, Sonika Vaid, Bridgette Guerette, and featured artist Emmarie captured the attention of the outdoor audience at 1 Summer Street in the heart of Boston’s Downtown Crossing with finesse way beyond their young years.

Dhameja kicked off the concert with her bubbly rendition of, “Pricetag” by Jessie J. Her sassy spirit filled the air, and Rippie then kept the ball rolling with crooning, soulful vocals while accompanying herself on guitar. Vaid evoked a young Mariah Carey when she opened with, “Hero,” and finished strong with an upbeat, “The One That Got Away,” by Pop Queen Katy Perry. Guerette, hailing all the way from New York came to conquer, performing an acoustic set on piano and finishing with a stunning original song. The featured artist for the evening, Emmarie had personality for days when she took the stage! The budding starlet performed popular hits like Lady Gaga’s, “Born This Way,” as well as unveiling her new original song, “Fighting Dragons.” At only age ten, the world better watch out for Emmarie because there’s no doubt about it, she is a force to be reckoned with!

The next Series in A Summer Singer Showcase will be taking place this Tuesday, August 7th from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at 1 Summer Street in Downtown Crossing.
